CHAPTER I

The whole world worships the Harlot and becomes the Babylon.
온 세상이 Harlot(매춘)을 숭배하고 Babylon이 된다.
The fragile peace and volatile world politics at the present.
현재 상황은 부서지기 쉬운 평화와 불안정한 세상의 정치.
Numerous signs preceding the Divine Chastisements.
무수한 징후들은 신의 응징에 앞서 나타난다.

I.55 The whole world has become the great Babylon.
온 세상이 거대한 바빌론이 된다.

Under a hostile and Babylonian climate
부적절함과 바빌론의 분위기 아래에서
So great shall be the effusion of blood
거대한 피의 흘러내림이 있으리라.
Injustice shall reign on land, sea, air, sky
부정이 땅, 바다, 대기, 하늘,
Cults, famine, kingdoms, plagues, and confusion
숭배, 기근, 왕국, 전염병, 혼돈의 위에 군림하리라.

COMMENT: The present world has become universally a great harlot or Babylon which adores the sinful flesh and which was prophesied in the Book of Revelation . The Divine Chastisements shall be measured out to us all in the above-mentioned forms.

Mankind shall join more toward the harlot than the Virgin

Sexual sins concealed under the devilish purity
성적인 죄악은 거짓의(극악무도한) 순결을 숨긴다.
Through wars they shall be struck with a great branch
전쟁을 거치면서 그들은 거대한 가지(?)로 얻어맞을 것이다.

COMMENT: Sinful behaviors are being concealed in such terms as freedom, pro-choice, reproduction, self-gratifying, tolerance, and so on. And the mankind ignores the pleading of the Mother of God.

II.70 Mankind turns beasts, expiation needed for a renewal.
인류가 짐승으로 변하고, 속죄는 일신을 위해 필요하게 된다.

Le dard du Ciel fera son estendue
Morts en parlant grande execution
La pierre en l'arbre la fiere gent rendue
Bruit humain monstre, purge expiation

NOTE:

Thunder from Heaven shall extend its range
하늘의 우레(천둥)는 그 위세를 펼칠 것이고
They still blaspheme God while enduring great execution
크나큰 실행을 참음(?) 동안에도 그들은 여전히 신에 대한
불경스러운 이야기를 할 것이다.
Like living tree turning to stone, a proud generation becomes
살아있는 나무가 돌로 되는 것과 같이, 영광의 발현이 있을 것이다.
With mankind becoming brute beast, a renewal through expiation needed
인류와 같이 난폭한 짐승이 되어가고, 속죄를 통한 일신이 필요하게 된다.

X.55 The corrupt world of flesh.
정욕(육체)의 잘못된 세상

Les mal' heureuses nopces celebreront
En grande joye mais la fin mal'heureuse
Mary mere Nore desdaigneront
Le Phybe mort, Nore plus piteuse

NOTE:
Mal'heureuse: unhappy; nopces: nuptial, fleshy union; celebreront: celebrate; mais: but; fin: the end; Mary: Blessed Mary; mere: pure; Nore (noire): black, sinful one; desdaigneront: disdain; Phybe: Phoebus, surname of Apollon, god of the sun, (fig.) the Lord Jesus; mort: dead; plus piteuse: most pitiful.

The unhappy union of flesh (not marriage) shall be celebrated
(결혼하지 않은) 육체의 불행한 결합이 찬미 받게 될 것이다.
In great joy but with unhappy ending
거대한 쾌락은 불행한 끝으로 되듯이
Chaste Mary, Nore shall disdain
순결한 성모 마리아, Nore(노아)는 경멸하게 될 것이다.
Christ crucified, Nore shall be in most pitiful state
그리스도가 십자가에 못 박히고, 노아가 보다 가엾어질 것이다.

COMMENT: Many marriages today are not pleasing and blessed by God.
현세의 많은 결혼은 신의 기쁘게도 하지 않고 축복 받지도 않는다.

V.72 The sensual world brings about the loss of faith.
음탕한 세상은 믿음의 상실을 야기한다.

Pour le plaisur d'edict voluptueux
On melera la poison dans la loi
Venus sera en cours si vertueux
Qui obsuquera du Soleil tout aloy

NOTE:

Due to the pleasure of sensual edict
관능주의 선도의 즐거움으로 인하여
One shall mix poison in the law
어떤 것은 법적으로 해로운 것으로 섞여있다.
The Harlot shall be on course , appear so virtuous
매춘부가 과정에 있을 것이며, 무척 덕이 있는 것처럼 보일 것이다.
She shall obscure the Light totally
완전히 그녀는 빛을 덮어 버릴 것이다.

COMMENT: Harlotry shall be concealed or disguised under fanciful and humanistic terms. The loss of the Eternal Truth shall be the result.

I.86 The Harlot manifests in the form of feminism and sin of flesh.
매춘부는 여성해방론과 육체의 죄악을 표명할 것이다.

Fera excez de masculin courage
Sur cheval, fleuve passera toute nue
Suitte par fer, a foi fera outrage

NOTE:

The great Harlot while seeing herself soon defeated
자기 자신을 보는 동안 곧 사라져버릴 가장 높은 지위의(?) 매춘부는
Shall exceed the masculine courage
남자의 용맹을 뛰어넘을 것이다.
Upon the horse-back, through the river of blood, shall pass totally naked
말을 타고, 피의 강을 넘어서, 싸움을 위해 벌거벗은 모습을 하고 모두 통과하며,
Suited to fight, shall outrage her faith
그녀의 신앙(신뢰)을 어길 것이다.


COMMENT: The great harlot mentioned in the Book of Revelation seeing her allotted time running out, shall push forward an extreme agenda of feminism based on sex, abortion, pornography, and armed with modernistic affront toward the Church's Tradition and Teaching.

I.54 The liberal world which tolerates all things.
모든 것을 허용하는(관대히 받아들이는) 자유로운 세상

Deux revolts faits du malin falcigere
De regne et siecles fait permutation
Le mobile signe en son endroit s'ingere
Aux deux esgaux et d'inclination

NOTE:

Two revolts resulted in the Evil Death (to the world)

To kingdoms and cycles, moral order changed

The mobile sign in one's viewpoint shall become meddled
한 사람의 시점에서 변덕스러운 징조는 간섭되어질 것이다.
Turn equal between two inclinations
두 가지 기질 사이를 같도록 하라.

COMMENT: Twice mankind had revolted against God in the Enlightment of the eighteenth century and with the liberalism of the twentieth. One's viewpoint becomes socialized and unclear. Moderation or centrist views become popular.

III.98 The divided society: the battle for life and control.
나누어진 사회 : 삶과 권력을 위한 전쟁.

Deux royal freres si fort guerroyeront
Qu' entre eux sera la guerre si mortelle
Qu' un chacun places fortes occuperont
De regnes et vie sera leur grand querelle

NOTE:

Two royal brothers shall raise vigorous battles
두 왕족 형제는 그들 사이에서 인간이 치르는
Between them is the mortal war
왕성한 전쟁을 일으킬 것이다.
Each occupies a high place
각각 높은 지위를 차지하고
Their great quarrel shall be about life and reign
그들의 크나큰 싸움이 생존과 권력을 위해 있을 것이다.

COMMENT: The society shall divide into two camps which shall fight for governmental control and the matter of life and death (abortion , euthanasia).

VI.19 Aborted unborns are offered as the holocaust.
태어나기 이전의 유산이 대학살 같이 도래할 것이다.

Que voudra mettre les innocens a feu

Quand dans Seville monstre en boeuf sera veu

The flame of Justice shall engulf a sinful soul
정의의 불길이 죄 많은 영혼을 삼키리라
Who was willing to offer her innocent as a holocaust
그자는 대학살(번제)로 하여금 그녀의 결백을 가져다주게 되리라.
Close to the assault, passion shall be aroused
강간에 접하여, 고통이 각성시킬 것이다.
While in hell, the devil of half man and half beast shall be seen
지옥과 같이, 반인간이며 반짐승인 악마가 보여지게 될 것이다.

- 번제 : 짐승을 통제로 구워 신에게 바치는 유대 제사.

COMMENT: The sin of abortion is described here with its consequence. Like Minotaur, the Greek mythical monster which was half man and half beast, the Devil also demands the sacrifice of the innocent unborns.

V.36 Euthanasia or assisted suicide.
안락사 또는 자살을 돕는 것.

De soeur le frere par simulte faintise
Viendra meler rosee en mineral
Sur la placente donne a vieille tardive
Meurt de goustant sera simple et rural

NOTE:
Soeur: sister; frere: brother; simulte: simulated, artificial; faintise (fraticide): an act of killing one's own brother or sister; meler: mix; rosee: dew; placente: plate; donne: given; vieille: old; tardif: tardy, awkward; muert: murder; goustant: taste, drops of medicine.

Shall mix dew in mineral
광물(미네랄)에 이슬을 섞을 것이다.
Upon a plate given to his aging and frail sister
금속판의 위에 그의 노화와 연약한 누이가 바쳐질 것이다.
Death (murder) with drug shall become simple and rural
약물에 의한 죽음은 간단하고 소박해질 것이다.

COMMENT:Euthanasia or assisted suicide was described here as a legalized way to terminate an aging relative.

V.83A hypocritical leader from a powerful nation who loves to quote from the Bible.
성경을 인용하기를 좋아하는 강한 나라의 위선적인 지도자

Ceux qui auront entrepris subvertir
Non pareil regne puissant et invincible
Feront par fraude, nuits trois advertis
Quand le plus grand a table lire Bible

NOTE:

Those who plan a subversive scheme
파괴하는 음모를 계획하는 자들은
In the reign of unequal power and invincibility
불공평한 힘의 권력과 무적상태에서
Through fraud shall advertise (a campaign) for three nights
완전히(?) 사기꾼은 3일밤 동안을 알릴 것이다.
While their leader is reading the Bible at his table

VIII.14 An immoral leader.
부도덕한 지도자.

Aveuglera par libide l'honneur
Cogneu sera d"adultere l'offense
Qui parviendra a son grand deshonneur

NOTE:
Aveuglera: shall blind; libide (libido): sexual desire; cogneu (cogner): to hit, knock; adultere: adulterer; parviendra (parvenir): to obtain, reach.

Great credit, of gold, of silver in abundance
풍부한 대단한 명성과 금과 은(silver)은
Shall blind his honor through sexual desire
성적인 욕망을 통하여 그의 명예를 눈가림 할 것이며
Shall be struck with his adultery offenses
그의 간통으로 당하게 되리라.
Who shall obtain a great dishonnor
그는 크나큰 불명예를 얻게될 것이다.

COMMENT: Do this quatrain and the previous one both describe someone that we know?

VI.13 A dubious US president shall be impeached.
미덥지 않은 미국 대통령은 밀고 당할 것이다.

Un dubieux ne viendra long du regne
La plus grand part le voudra soustenir
Un captiole ne voudra point qu'il regne
Sa grande chair ne pourra maintenir


NOTE:
Dubieux: dubious, shady; plus: most; plus grand part: by majority; soutenir: to support; captiole: an anagram of the word "capitol" or Capitol Hill; point: point, mark; pourra (pourrir): to become rotten, decay; maintenir: to uphold, defend.

One dubious president shall not reign long
한 미덥지 않은 대통령은 오래 통지하지 못할 것이다.
The majority of population shall give him support
다수의 민중이 그를 지원하지만
But Capitol Hill shall not give high mark of approval
Capital Hill은 찬성의 많은 표를 주지 않을 것이다.
Such a great chair shall be upheld from decay
그러한 높은 자리는 붕괴로부터 유지되므로...(???)

COMMENT: This president shall be impeached by Congress even he gains a majority of approval from his people. The English word "chair" indicates that this event shall occur in an English-speaking country. And the word "Capitol" clearly indicates US Congress.

IV.28 God's Chastisements for the Sin of flesh.
정욕의 죄에 대한 신의 응징

Lors que Venus du Sol sera couvert
Soubs l'esplendeur sera forme occulte
Mercure au feu les aura descouvert
Par bruit bellique sera mis a l'insulte

NOTE:

When the Harlot by Divine Justice shall be covered

IX.65 Man lands on the moon.

COMMENT: Man was prophesied here landing on the moon. Space exploration program is the great waste of human resources which illustrates the human folly.

I.81 US Supreme Court: The institution of destruction.
미국의 최고 법정 : 파괴의 제도

D'humain troupeau neuf seront mis a part
De jugement et conseil separees
Leur sort sera divise en deport
Kappa, Theta, Lambda, morts, bannis, egarez

NOTE:
Troupeau: pack, crowd; neuf: nine; leur: their; sort: destiny; divise: divided in judicial judment; depart: separation by vote; Kappa, Theta, Lambda: Greek alphabets, (fig.) human artificial technicality; mort: death; bannis: banished, abolished; egarez: misleading, going astray.

COMMENT: The destructive role of US Supreme Court toward social order and morality especially in the twentieth century.

XII.55 Influence of lobbying special interest groups.
특별한 흥미 있는 무리에 압력을 가하는 것의 영향

Aduis meschant, la loy sera trahie
Le peuple esmeu, farouche, querelleux
Tant bourg que ville toute la paix haye

X.71 The First ThanksGiving ( Some quatrains pertaining to USA only).
첫 번째 하느님에 대한 감사. ( 어떤 4행시는 미국만이 속하고 있다. )

La terre et l'air geleront se grand eau
Lors qu'on viendra pour Jeudy venerer
Ce qui sera jamais ne feut si beau
Des quatre parts le viendront honorer

NOTE:
Terre: earth; geleront (geler): to freeze; eau: water; lors: then; viendra (venir): to come; Jeudy: Thursday; venerer; to venerate; ce qui: that; jamais: ever; feut: done; beau:beautiful; quatre: four; le: Him.

The earth and air shall freeze with so much water
땅과 공기가 굉장히 많은 물과 함께 얼어버릴 것이다.
Then one shall come to venerate on Thursday
그러면 누군가 목요일에 경배하기 위해 올 것이다.
That custom shall never be so beautiful
저 손님은 무척 예쁘지는 않을 것이다.
From four corners they shall come to honor Him
네(4) 구석으로부터 그들은 그에게 명예를 가져다 줄 것이다.

COMMENT: On a snowy day, the pilgrims came to honor and give thanks to God.

I.50 USA's Thanksgiving is on Thursday.
미국의 추수감사절은 목요일.

Through land and sea, and through conquest of Oriental storms
