01-100-forest-distant-earth.jpg

Now with that said, the above first black and white image is a distant view of a section of conventional tree forest here on Earth. The forest is of course the dark color areas and the light areas are human cleared fields or pastures. I have chosen this particular 1940s tree forest evidence scene because many of these trees are older mature growth as opposed to cut-over newer less mature growth and as such are more visually comparable to Mars tree forest growth that is also older larger size more mature growth and consequently a bit more easy to identify in the poor quality resolution challenged Mars satellite imaging as it has been released to us.

Also, I have chosen this particular combination of side-by-side Earth open field and densely packed forest evidence in the same scene to demonstrate the simple fact that the more bare and exposed the geological terrain is (field, pasture, dirt roads, etc., then it is also much more solar light reflective as compared with living forest evidence that is darker by survival design in relation to its need to absorb sunlight in the process of living and surviving. This is often a key clue to understanding whether one is looking at forest evidence or natural terrain geology. When the more light reflective terrain geology is absent, it's a clue to examine closer for the possibility of vegetation life covering and hiding it from view.

This particular first Earth scene above looks so dramatically unique because the trees are confined within old depression water drain systems rather than just in a broad ranging continuous mass. The larger main horizontal drain system in the image is being fed by smaller vertical tributary drain systems merging and joining in with it. Human intervention in the distant past has resulted in most of the higher more accessible by low tech means ground being cleared of trees for fields but now reverting back to scrubland with some scattered trees growing back while the rougher lesser accessible by low tech means depression drain systems retain the older tightly packed forest growth evidence as seen from above back in the 1940s when this imaging was taken.

The thin wandering and sometimes relative straight highly light reflective narrow lines are dirt roads in various states of wear and use. This demonstrates how the barest geology material representing reflective solid particulate matter is the most solar light reflective of all. This factor is characteristic of most geological material regardless of where you find it including on either Earth or Mars and especially in black and white imaging. Remember this important point when you are looking at what is purported to be Mars geology in the satellite imaging but it is really a dull and non-reflective tint looking much like smooth featureless haze, smoke or fog. This factor is key to understanding when you are actually looking at the prevalent smudge image tampering applications mimicking geology rather than real planetary terrain geology.

Now remember that the dark areas in these first three Earth forest images here are densely packed tree evidence and not to be confused with dark water even though the trees are located within, conform to, and even visually look a little bit like water drain systems in the above more distant view. If any water is still present in the drain systems, it is not visible at all and is completely covered over and hidden from view by the visually impenetrable carpeting tree evidence typical of older growth forest both on Earth as well as on Mars as it turns out.

Further, it is the same for any geological terrain unseen any where under the visually impenetrable carpeting areas of trees. This is typical of very old darker color growth forest evidence where the most aggressive tree types tend to prevail and crowd out everything else, including each other, in their competition for sunlight space over long periods of stable time. These uniform forest canopy upper surface texture patterns as well as the absence of more light reflective solid particulate geology covered over by the same light absorbing darker type of forest canopy is key to understanding and identifying Mars forest evidence. Remember that.

02-100-forest-closer-earth.jpg

The above second image is a section of the same Earth forest scene but with a little closer view. Note the different but still very similar looking knobby texture patterns of this densely packed Earth hardwood forest evidence and its many variations. This is what a older growth primarily hardwood hammock looks like when viewed from far above. The dark forest lanes are so densely packed with trees because this site has existed for a very long time with the trees packed and intertwining together competing over long periods of time for available sunlight space in this moisture available water drain system site.

This view and the size of the tree evidence and its upper canopy uniform knobby texture pattern is very similar to what can be seen in many Mars older growth sites where the prevalent image tampering has not too seriously compromised the view and the evidence. However, when you're later comparing Earth and Mars based evidence against each other, just remember that this Earth evidence is viewed under sharper more ideal Earth visual conditions as compared to the poorer quality Mars imaging as made available to us that so often precludes adequate closer looks at any real details and is almost always visually compromised and almost always in more than one way with varying degrees of effectiveness. Even so, I think you will find most of the Earth and Mars imaging presented here very comparable despite differences.

03-100-forest-closest-earth.jpg

The above third image is of the same Earth forest scene but now with an even closer view. Note again the different canopy knobby texture patterns while at the same time overall being relatively uniform. This is of course a bit closer view of forest evidence than you will normally see on Mars but I have included some Mars evidence comparable to this as you will see. The different sizes of the forest evidence as represented by the above three images is collectively informative as to what the forest upper canopy tree top textures look like and you will see some of the Mars evidence looking just like these scenes. That is often due to older larger trees in some of the Mars forests making the view appear closer than it actually is but also brought about by imperfection mistakes made in the automated image tampering obfuscation processes allowing a better than intended look.

Despite this being 1940s Earth image technology, you will note later in Mars forest imaging how very similar it is. Obviously, one would logically expect a great deal more than this out of the Mars imaging due to the intervening 50-60 years of technology advancement and yet is just isn't there on this kind of forest evidence. You logically have to ask how can this be? Likewise, once you begin to understand this simple fact, you may also begin to understand where I'm coming from when I take the position that the Mars satellite imaging in the form released to us in not the real much higher detail raw science data imaging taken of the planet.

04-100-forest-mixed-earth.jpg

Now the above fourth image is of a different Earth forest scene located in more flat level terrain. It is mix of some older and more numerous newer smaller growth. This scene is located in commercial pine timber country and in this spot probably includes mixes of hardwoods, softwoods like pines, scrubland, probably even colder weather hardy palms, and areas commercially cleared of trees at some past point in time. Note that the overall forest texture pattern is subtly different than in the first three Earth forest images. Note to that where the forest evidence is thickest over a broad area, natural more light reflective terrain geology is again for the most part not visible due to being covered over and hidden by the tree evidence.

The first and single most important basic overriding tree forest recognition factor is that mostly non-reflective darker tint older growth dense tree forests for the most part cover over and hide more light reflective natural terrain geology from view. If the visible terrain is much more light absorbing than light reflective, then the next question becomes, in the quest for forest evidence, whether any degree of the knobby texture pattern seen in the above four Earth forest conventional tree evidence images is present? If so, then how does such evidence behave on the ground relative to ground contours and imperfections.

Remember, if the conditions are favorable, an old long established successful forest competing over long periods of time for solar light space within an area without significant adverse intervention will crowd out less aggressive vegetation types as well as carpet, overwhelm, engulf and cover over just about everything including craters and all but portions of the most mountainous geology. For example, remember those huge elevated ancient temples in Central and South America before being cleared back off by human intervention. It is what forest do when left alone and successfully thriving.

So the above four Earth forest images set the comparison recognition factor first stage. Now let's get on with some similar Mars based forest evidence in the next Part 2 through Part 5 sections. Ideally it would have been better to have set this report up into a single volume to make it easier to scroll back and forth between the Earth and Mars evidence for comparison. However, separating this evidence up into linked sections so that each section and its accompanying images will load reasonably expediently online on dial-up connections was the only practical solution.
