A UFO almost collided into a police helicopter in Britain.

The helicopter carrying a crew of three had to make a sharp turn to avoid a UFO heading their way near an RAF base outside Cardiff, South Wales.

According to a source, the UFO rushed straight at the helicopter at high speed.
“The chopper had to swerve sharply to avoid being hit. The guys said if they’d stayed where they were, they’d be dead – it would’ve been a direct hit,” said the source. “They are convinced it was a UFO. It sounds far-fetched, but they know what they saw.

Barely surviving the incident, the helicopter chased after the object to take a closer look, but it wasn’t able to catch it since it went too fast.”

It eventually had to give up and return to base since fuel was low.

In regard to the incident, "South Wales Police can confirm its air support unit sighted an unusual aircraft. This was reported to the relevant authorities for their investigation," the police said in a brief statement.

경찰 헬기가 UFO와 충돌할 위기를 가까스로 모면하였다.

사우쓰 웨일스 카디프에 있는 영국 공군기지 근처에서 UFO가 빠른 속도로 3명의 남자 승무원들을 태운 헬기를 향해 돌진해오자 헬기는 급격히 방향을 돌렸다.

제보자에 따르면 만약 승무원들이 헬기를 돌리지 않았다면 그 자리에서 사망했을 것이라며 말이 안 된다고 할 수도 있겠지만 그들이 본 것은 분명 UFO라고 덧붙였다.

겨우 위험을 피하고 헬기는 물체를 확인하기 위해 뒤쫓아 갔지만 너무 속도가 빨라 따라잡지 못했다. 연료도 거의 바닥이 난 터라 기지로 방향을 돌릴 수 밖에 없었다.

이에 경찰은 간단한 성명에서 “사우쓰 웨일스 경찰 당국은 공중 지원단이 예사롭지 않은 물체를 목격했음을 확인해 줄 수 있다”며 “관련 당국이 수사를 하도록 보고됐다”고 말했다.
