A revolutionary new vaccine technology is explained by Cambridge Biostability's Chief Scientist, Bruce Roser, at The Royal Society of Medicine in London, Tuesday Oct 19, 2004, alongside the 'Resurection Plant' which inspired it. 19일 런던 왕립 의학회에서 백신과 '부활 식물(Resurection Plant)'이 나란히 전시되어 있다.

'부활 식물'은 건조를 통해 적게는 1백년간 스스로를 보존할수 있으며 물만 다시 주면 수시간만에 되살아날 수 있다

이 식물의 능력은 영국 회사 '케임브리지 바이오스터빌리티'에 의해 냉동이나 해동의 필요없이 분해가 어려운 액체의 주입 태세를 취하도록 기존 백신을 재조직하는데 응용됐다.

이 기술로 말미암아 기존백신들이 다양한 환경조건하에서 장기간의 저장이 가능케됐다(AP).
