This Mars Global Surveyor (MGS) Mars Orbiter Camera (MOC) image shows light-toned, layered,
sedimentary rock outcrops in south-central Becquerel Crater in western Arabia Terra near 21.3°N, 8.4°W.
The layered material may have been deposited in an intracrater lake,
early in martian history. The material has subsequently been exposed and eroded by wind.
Dark sand dunes have accumulated along the southern margin (bottom of image) of the outcrop exposure.
The image covers an area about 3 km (1.9 mi) wide and is illuminated by sunlight from the left/lower left.

이 화성 세계적인 측량사(MG) 화성 인공위성 카메라(MOC) 이미지는 계층화되었기 때문에 빛이 가락이 붙여지게 보입니다
최적암은 21.3 °N(8.4 °W) 가까이에 서쪽 아라비아 흙에 남쪽중심 Becquerel Crater에 노출됩니다.
층을 이룬 물질은 화성 역사에 일찍 내부화구호에 놓이었을지도 모릅니다. 물자는 바람에 의하여 그 후에 노출되고 부식되었습니다.
어두운 사구들은 노두 노출의 남부 변두리(이미지의 바닥)을 따라 모이었습니다.
이미지는 지역을 덮습니다 대략 3 킬로미터(1.9 미)의 넓은 이세상 그리고 왼쪽 / 좌측 하부로부터 햇빛에 의해 계몽됩니다.
