The above picture is an old anomaly showing a very unusual shadow
that many have said is the shadow of a large spaceship in orbit between Mars and the Sun. We are still seeking the original source of

A very odd shadow on more recent Mars photos. This is one of many odd shadows that are on image M11-00072.gif. - Spotted by Undo at ATS

This object appears to be a huge column or plume of gasses emitted
from a small vent. The shadow it casts is identical to the plume, showing that the plume must be very opague. This is one of many odd shadows
that are on image M11-00071.gif
